The pencil pole is made out of paper. It does not need to be sharpened. It can be torn by the rope in the pencil. These are the kind of pencils that are wrapped in paper and have the string that you pull and then unwrap the paper to "sharpen" them. The Non-Toxic Dermatograph Pencil can be used on China, glass, metal, cloth, cellophane, CD, vinyl and many other surfaces.
How to erase the crayon on the fabric.
First cover the fabric with a piece of white, and thin cloth, and iron the cloth. Then the pigment of crayon stick to white cloth.
